ABOUT TAREQ FRANK DAOUDI TAYLOR
Swedish chef and restaurateur best known as the host of SVT culinary shows such as Trädgårdsonsdag and Go'kväll as well as his international series Nordic Cookery. He also owns a Malmo-based restaurant called Kockeriet as well as Slottsträdgårds Café, which is known for serving produce sourced from the large garden behind it.
He was raised within a multicultural household as his mother, Annie Taylor, is English and Swedish, and his father, Seif Daoudi is Palestinian. He developed a passion for cooking at a young age after working in restaurant kitchens as a teen and spending time in international culinary settings.
He has authored multiple bestselling cookbooks including Om mat och kärlek and Helt Enkelt.
He was married to his wife Kristina Taylor for several years before they ultimately separated in 2021. Together, they share one daughter named Ellen who appeared on the children's cooking show Sveriges Yngsta Mästerkock in 2015. He later partnered with health and wellness coach Sofia Ståhl and they welcomed their first child together in 2025.
In 2022, he competed and placed second on the reality talent show The Masked Singer Sweden, which is hosted by David Hellenius .
