Younger sister of Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney . She often appeared in her sister's social media feeds.

Her sister qualified for the 2012 Olympics.

In 2012, she and her family traveled to London to support her sister as she competed in the Olympic Games.

Her brother is Kav Maroney .  Her parents are Mike and Erin Maroney. Her father died in 2019. She grew up in California.

She and Sherine Bolt both have siblings who are Olympic champions.
