ABOUT TATIANA NIKOLAEVNA
Best known as the Grand Duchess of Russia and the daughter of Tsar Nicholas II.
As a young teenager, she was given the rank of honorary colonel.
During World War I, she trained to become a nurse. She tended to wounded soldiers on the grounds of Tsarskoye Selo from 1914 to 1917. She was a nurse until after the first Russian Revolution when her family was arrested.
She is the second daughter of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna . She was the younger sister of Grand Duchess Olga and the elder sister of Grand Duchess Maria, Grand Duchess Anastasia, and Tsarevich Alexei.
She often relied on the counsel of Grigori Rasputin regarding the health of her younger brother.
