ABOUT TEAIRA MCCOWAN

Professional basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She has also played for Galatasaray in the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League.

She had a successful college career playing for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, where she was named WBCA All-American and won the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award.

In January 2019, she was honored as the espnW national player of the week.

She is from Bryan Texas.
