ABOUT TEHYA SHEA
Textile artist from northern California. From her home on the Santa Barbara coast she weaves textile sculptors, furniture pieces, and clothing and shares them on her self-titled Instagram account. She also shares her daily pastoral lifestyle, such as grazing goats.
She made her first post to Instagram in June of 2013.
As a child, she and her parents would dress all in red and camp in the mountains near the Rajaneesh commune in Oregon.
She lives with her husband and dog in the mountains of northern California.
She and Magdalena Abakanowicz are both textile artists.
