Terry Dischinger

ABOUT TERRY DISCHINGER

Former three time All-Star and Rookie of the Year that played eleven years in the NBA before retiring in the year 1973. During his NBA career, he primarily played the position of small forward and shooting guard. While playing with the Detroit Pistons in the year 1971, he served as a player-coach. In the year 2019, he was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame.

He is a graduate of Purdue University . As a senior, he led the Big Ten Conference in points and rebounds.

He scored exactly 9,012 points during his 11-year NBA career. He also grabbed over 3,646 rebounds during that time span. He was quite tall, standing at 6'7".

He is survived by his wife Mary and their three children. He is also a grandfather of nine children.

He is a former Purdue collegiate athlete like Jaden Ivey .
