ABOUT TERRY SANDERS

Known for his work on an Academy Award-winning short film titled 'A Time Out of War,' this cinematic director and producer also created such biographical, documentary films as Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision and Portrait of Zubin Mehta .

Early in his career, he produced Warhunt, a 1962 film starring Sydney Pollack .

He served as co-founder and director of the American Film Foundation.

His wife, Freida Lee Mock, also had a career as a director and producer, as did his brother, Denis Sanders, with whom he collaborated on a project called Crime & Punishment, USA.

He worked on a documentary film titled Lillian Gish : The Actor's Life for Me.
