ABOUT THAIS REGINA DA SILVA

Professional defender that was signed by the Brazil based soccer club São Paulo FC in 2019. Prior to São Paulo FC, she played for Sport Club do Recife during the 2018 club season. She played for the Brazilian international U-17 and U-20 youth squads in 2016 and 2018.

She began her professional soccer career playing for Sport Club do Recife in 2014. She made only four appearances as a rookie during the 2014 club season.

While playing for São Paulo FC during the 2020 and 2021 club seasons, she and her team were runner-ups at the Copa Paulista Women's tournament in back to back years.

She is a native of Recife, Brazil. Her boyfriend, Rwan, is also a professional soccer player.

She has made appearances as a member of the Brazilian national team during her professional soccer career just like former Brazilian defender David Luiz .
