Thawarchand Gehlot

ABOUT THAWARCHAND GEHLOT

Indian politician who is known for having served as the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment for the NDA. He is also known for having been both a member of parliament and Leader of the House for the Rajya Sabha party.

He attended Vikram University where he earned his Bachelors Degree. He started his work for Labour Areas in 1965 but gained further attention for his social work in 1960.

He has visited several countries as a politician including the United States, South Africa, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

He married Anita Gehlot and together they have four children.

He was preceded as Leader of the House by fellow Rajya Sabha member Arun Jaitley .
