ABOUT THEO PINSON

Former University of North Carolina Tarheel that was signed by the Dallas Mavericks on a two-way deal in January 2022. He spent the majority of the 2022 NBA regular season playing for the Mavericks' rookie affiliate team the Texas Legends. He began his NBA career playing for the Brooklyn Nets .

He played high school basketball at the Wesleyan Christian Academy. He was named a McDonald's All-American his senior year.

He won the 2017 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game after his team defeated Gonzaga University . The year prior, he lost the 2016 championship game to Villanova University .

He grew up living with his parents in Greensboro, North Carolina. He is an only child.

He won the 2017 NCAA Championship playing alongside Kennedy Meeks and Justin Jackson at UNC.
