ABOUT THOMAS HUTCHINSON

Loyalist governor of Massachusetts who disastrously ran the province in the immediate years before the American Revolutionary War. Both the Boston massacre and the Boston Tea Party occurred under his leadership.

He attende Harvard College when he was only 12 years old.

After the Boston massacre an angry mob attacked his home because he supported the policies of the British Prime Minister.

He married Margaret Sanford in 1734.

Samuel Adams was one of his biggest rivals in Massachusetts.
