ABOUT THOMAS LUBANGA

A war criminal who was the first person ever convicted by the International Criminal Court, and was the founder of the Union of Congolese Patriots.

He was born in Djiba and studied at the University of Kisangani, where he earned a degree in psychology.

He was a military commander during the Second Congo War.

His family comes from the DR Congo.

He has been sent to prison like Nelson Mandela .
