ABOUT THOMAS SORBER

Professional power forward and center who was initially taken by the Oklahoma City Thunder as a first rounder in 2025. Prior to being drafted, he attended Georgetown University . During his lone season at Georgetown, he earned All-Big East freshman team honors.

He first began his high school basketball career at the Trenton Catholic Academy. Just one year later, he transferred to Archbishop Ryan High School.

His first love as a child coming up was soccer. Best known for his athletic build and smooth footwork, he credits his experiences playing soccer for his skillset.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Trenton, New Jersey. He was born of Liberian descent.

He was coached by Ed Cooley while at Georgetown.
