ABOUT THOR FREUDENTHAL

German director who rose to fame for his work on the 2005 short film Motel. He went on to direct 2010's Diary of a Wimpy Kid . He has also lent his directing talents to popular television shows such as Arrow and The Expanse .

He attended Berlin University of the Arts and California Institute of the Arts.

His grandparents appeared in the final scene of Schindler's List . His short film, Motel, was honored with a Film Discovery Jury Award at the US Comedy Arts Festival. Over the course of his career, he has earned credit as a producer on more than twenty films and TV shows. He has also received credits as a writer.

He was born to Israeli parents.

As the director of Words on Bathroom Walls, he worked with actor Charlie Plummer .
