ABOUT TIKOY AGUILUZ

Film director and producer who is widely remembered for his contributions to the alternative cinema movement in the Philippines. In the year 2011, he won the Best Director award for Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story at the Metro Manila Film Festival.

He studied comparative literature and fine arts at the University of the Philippines.

His first movie was a short documentary called Mt. Banahaw, Holy Mountain. His final film, which was entitled Tragic Theater, was released in the year 2015. The film is a supernatural horror film adaptation of the book of the same name, starring Andi Eigenmann, Christopher de Leon, and John Estrada.

He was born in the Philippines.

He collaborated with Andi Eigenmann on the movie Tragic Theater.
