ABOUT TIM ALLEN
Home Improvement star who provided the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story films. He also starred in The Santa Clause film series and Galaxy Quest . In 2011, he began starring as Mike Baxter in the ABC sitcom Last Man Standing .
When he was 11, his father died in a car collision with a drunk driver. He worked at the student radio station WIDR while attending Western Michigan University .
In 2012, he won TV Guide Magazine's Fan Favorites Award for Favorite Comeback.
He married Laura Diebel in 1984, and the couple had a daughter named Katherine in 1989 before divorcing in 2003. In 2006, he married Jane Hajduk ; they have a daughter named Elizabeth.
He and Tom Hanks both provided voices for Toy Story characters.
