Investment banker and a former managing director at Goldman Sachs. He helped orchestrate one of the biggest financial scandals in history. In 2018, he pled guilty to charges he stole $200 million from a Malaysian sovereign wealth fund, and paid bribes to corrupt Malaysian and Emirati offices. In 2014, he married Kimora Lee Simmons but later admitted he showed her a bogus divorce decree from his previous marriage.

As a child, he loved tennis and attended camps where he received lessons from Steffi Graf . He received an MBA from the University of Hartford in Connecticut.

He moved to London for his first job in banking, an entry-level position at J.P. Morgan. In 2022, he testified against a former banker at Goldman Sachs, Roger Ng, who was accused of taking part in a bribery and kickback scheme.

In April 2015, Kimora Lee Simmons gave birth to his son, Wolfe Lee Leissner. In January 2020, Simons announced they adopted a ten-year-old son named Gary.

He helped the daughter of disgraced ex-Malaysian prime minster Najib Razak to get a job at TPG Asia.
