He began his t-shirt company simply by making some t-shirts he wanted to wear. Then, his friends wanted them. And then more people. The business blossomed out of their demand.

He co-owns the online T-shirt shop and subscription service .freeclothing.

He has a younger sister named Hannah.

Both he and Brian Diaz are known as both bloggers and touring musicians.
