ABOUT TIM WESTWOOD
British DJ and TV personality who hosted the UK version of Pimp My Ride. The TV series ran for 3 seasons, from 2005 to 2007. In 2022, he was accused of misconduct by multiple people.
He worked in numerous radio stations in the UK including Kiss 100 in London, which he also co-owned.
On television he hosted his own hip-hop show on Channel U, before becoming the Pimp My Ride UK presenter in 2004. In 2013, he returned to work at Capital Radio, where he had worked much earlier in his career.
He grew up in Suffolk, England and was the son of an Anglican bishop and well-known broadcaster Bill Westwood.
He was criticized by British MP David Cameron for glorifying violence.
