ABOUT TOBIAS LINDHOLM
Renowned screenwriter, filmmaker, and director whose 2015 film, A War, was nominated for the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. Together with Thomas Vinterberg , he wrote the screenplay for the acclaimed psychological drama film The Hunt.
He attended the National Film School of Denmark. He wrote the first two seasons of the political drama series Borgen not long after graduating.
The Good Nurse was the first English-language film that he has directed. One of his favorite films is 1995's Se7en . He and Vinterberg won awards for The Hunt at the European Film Awards and the Danish Film Awards.
He and his wife, film producer Caroline Blanco, attended the ninth Breakthrough Prize ceremony together in the year 2023.
As the director of The Good Nurse, he worked with the actor Eddie Redmayne .
