ABOUT TOM KILPATRICK

Former television and film writer who is best known by his work on the 1940's film Dr. Cyclops. He was also well-known by his work on Trapped by G-Men, The Palomino, and Whispering Enemies. He received his last screenwriting credit while working on the western series Maverick .

He first began his professional screenwriting career during the 1930s. In fact, he received his first screenwriting credit while working on Ladies Must Love.

Due to the highly-acclaimed performance of the 1940's drama film Dr. Cyclops, the movie received a nomination for "Best Dramatic Presentation" during the 1941 Hugo Awards. The film also received an Oscar nomination.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Missouri. He later moved to Los Angeles, California.

He shares a November 16th birthday with Shai Lighter .
