ABOUT TOM KLEINSCHMIDT
He was an All-American wing player at DePaul, and after going undrafted in the NBA draft he played professionally abroad from 1995 to 2007.
He was a star player at Gordon Tech High School in Chicago, where he led his team to a second place finish in the 1990 Illinois High School Association tournament.
After finishing his playing days he began coaching, becoming the head coach at his alma mater high school in 2012.
He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
In 1995 he was named the Great Midwest Conference Player of the Year, just two years after Penny Hardaway .
