ABOUT TOM CHARLES MACARTHUR

Former Republican politician who is best known for serving as the U.S. representative for New Jersey's 3rd congressional district from 2015 to 2019.

He graduated from Hofstra University . After graduating he became an insurance adjuster.

From 2011 through 2013, he served on the city council of Randolph, New Jersey and as its mayor in 2013. He was also elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2014.

His wife is Debbie MacArthur. They have three children, David, Isabella and Grace MacArthur.

In 2014, he decided to run for the Republican Party nomination when Jon Runyan , a Republican who represented New Jersey's 3rd congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, announced that he would not run for reelection.
