ABOUT TOMASO ALBINONI
Composer, songwriter, entertainer, artist, performer, and musician who is remembered for his work during the Baroque era. He wrote a wide assortment of musical works and pieces including operas, concertos, sonatas for one to six instruments, sinfonias, and solo cantatas.
His first opera Zenobia, regina de Palmireni was produced in 1694.
Before the year 1705, he mostly wrote trio sonatas and violin concertos. After his death, a number of his violin sonatas were published posthumously in France. One of his best known pieces is titled "Adagio in G minor."
He married Margherita Rimondi in 1705.
His work has been compared to that of Arcangelo Corelli .
