ABOUT TOMMY BANKS

Canadian musician, politician, and television host. He recorded numerous piano albums, hosted The Tommy Banks Show during the 1960s, '70s, and '80s, and represented Alberta in the Canadian Senate.

Early in his career, he hosted a CKUA radio show called "The Solo Piano of Tommy Banks."

He music directed ceremonies at the Fifteenth Winter Olympics.

He grew up in Calgary, Alberta and later settled in Edmonton, Alberta.

He performed for United States President Ronald Reagan and English Queen Elizabeth II.
