ABOUT TOMMY HANLON
Australian television show host who earned two Logie awards for his work on the 1960's game show, It Could Be You.
He started performing as a magician when he was a teenager and worked with Orson Welles' Mercury Theatre in Los Angeles in the 1940s for two years.
He bought into Ashton's Circus in 1967 and toured Australia as a ringmaster of Silvers Circus until 2001.
He was married to his wife, Muriel and he had a daughter, April, a son named Tommy and a stepson named Jeff.
He hosted the talent show, Pot of Gold with judge, Bernard King in the 1970s.
