Toni Young

ABOUT TONI YOUNG

Basketball player famous for her time playing for the Oklahoma State Cowgirls basketball team. She played in OSU's WNIT title run in the 2011-12 season, where she started in all six games and was honored as the tournament MVP. She scored 25 points and 9 rebounds in a game against James Madison University .

She played for her high school team at Del City in Del City, Oklahoma.

Before college, other schools she considered included Florida State University , Kansas State University , and Texas A&M University . She competed on the track-and-field team at OSU, as well as on the basketball team. While in college, she met the Olympic Trials "A" Standard, which qualified her for the London Olympics.

Veronica Young and Geane Johnson are her parents. She has nine siblings.

Cade Cunningham played basketball for Oklahoma State University before going pro.
