When she started college, she wanted to become a teacher for disabled children.
After her grandfather died of brain cancer, she realized that her career aspirations were to become a mortician to help families say their final goodbyes.
Her father was on active duty in Alaska when he met her mother. She has a twin sister, Kyra, who was born fifteen minutes before she was.
She costarred alongside Jackie Nanini on the brief MTV series Slednecks.
