ABOUT TRACY BRABIN

Former member of the English Parliament
for the Batley and Spen House of Commons constituency. She served in this role for over five years. In May of 2021, she was elected to be the Mayor of West Yorkshire. She is a representative of the Labour and Co-Operative Party.

She is a graduate of Loughborough University. She also attended the University of the Arts in London, England.

Prior to her political career, she worked as an actress in A Bit of a Do, Law & Order: UK, and Charles and Diana: Unhappily Ever After. She has even received writing credits for her work on programs such as Shameless, Heartbeat, Family Affairs, Crossroads, The Story of Tracy Beaker, Hollyoaks and Seacht.

She lives along with her husband Richard and their family. She is a native of Batley in the United Kingdom.
