ABOUT TRE JOHNSON

2025 draftee that was selected with the sixth overall pick by the Washington Wizards . While in college, he played basketball at the University of Texas . Following his lone season at Texas, he was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year.

In 2024, he was named a McDonald's All-American. During his senior year of high school, he was named Texas' Mr. Basketball.

He scored 39 points while playing against the University of Arkansas , which is a Texas single game program record by a freshman. The previous record holder was Kevin Durant , who scored 37 points.

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his siblings in Dallas, Texas. He is one of three brothers.

He was taken during the 2025 NBA Draft just like Ace Bailey .
