ABOUT TREVOR HUDGINS
American professional basketball point guard who plays for the Houston Rockets . He went undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, and went on to sign a two-way contract with the Rockets, becoming the first player from Northwest Missouri State to sign an NBA contract. He made his season debut for the Rockets in October 2022 against the Milwaukee Bucks . He posts game highlights and career updates on his trevor.hudgins Instagram account.
He played college basketball for the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats, leading the team to three consecutive NCAA Division II championships. His talent was spotted while he was playing at an AAU tournament in Kansas while he was in high school.
During his college career, he was named as the NABC Division II Player of the Year in both 2021 and 2022. Coming out of high school, he did not receive any Division I offers to play basketball, but made it to the NBA nonetheless.
His parents are Sterling and Pat Hudgins. His father is a pastor.
He joined Josh Christopher and Jalen Green on the Rockets.
