ABOUT TYLER HERRO

Guard known for his shooting ability who was selected 13th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat after playing one season at the University of Kentucky . He averaged over 13 points per game during his rookie year with the Heat and helped the team reach the 2020 NBA Finals.

He began shooting hoops when he was just 6 years old. He scored over 2,000 points in high school while playing for Whitnall High School.

Kentucky coach John Calipari offered him a scholarship during a surprise in-person visit.

His parents' names are Jen and Chris. He has brothers named Myles and Austin . In 2020, he started dating Katya Elise Henry . He and Katya welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Zya Elise, on September 14, 2021. In June 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting a second child together. The couple welcomed a son named Harlem on January 2023.

He and PJ Washington Jr. were teammates at Kentucky.
