She was born and raised in San Francisco, California.

She decided to retire from professional wrestling to dedicate time to her family. She publicly came out as a trans woman in February 2021.

She had a daughter named Mia with Priscilla Tuft, whom she married in 2002.

She was tag team partners and close friends with fellow wrestler Curt Hawkins .
