Tyson Bagent

ABOUT TYSON BAGENT

Professional football player who plays for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in the year 2023. He played collegiate football at Shepherd University.

He attended Martinsburg High School in Martinsburg, West Virginia. During high school, he played both football and basketball. He won the 2017-18 West Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year award. Bagent became the starting quarterback for the Shepherd Rams as a freshman in 2018 and made his debut on September 1, 2018, against Notre Dame (OH), where he threw for 518 yards on 36 completions and 54 attempts and three touchdowns in a 35-33 loss.

In the year 2021, he won the Harlon Hill Trophy as well as the Hardman Award. In the same year, he was named PSAC East Offensive Player of the Year. He stands 6'3" and weighs about 213 pounds.

He has a brother named Ezra Bagent and two sisters named Diem Bagent and Valyn Bagent. His father, Travis Bagent, is a world arm-wrestling champion.

He and fellow football player Robert Tonyan both joined the Chicago Bears in the year 2023.
