Václav Pilař

ABOUT VáCLAV PILAř

Professional midfielder and winger that was first signed by FC Hradec Králové in 2009. He later signed with the Czech soccer team Viktoria Plzeň FC in July 2022. He has also played for the Czech Republic men's national team during his professional career.

He initially joined Hradec Králové in 2006 as a member of their youth squad. He was only seventeen years old at the time.

He made his official international debut while playing against the Peruvian men's national team on June 4, 2011. The match ended in a 0-0 tie. He made his debut with the Czech Republic team in 2011. He scored the team's first goal in the opening game of the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament against Russia when his team was down 2-0.

He was born and raised in the Chlumec nad Cidlinou, Czech Republic area.

He shares an October 13th birthday with Paul Simon .
