International model and celebrity relative who has posed for notable brands across more than 25 countries around the world. She has appeared on the cover of Health Day Magazine and been featured by other respected publications including Lifestyle Inquirer and Modern Parenting. In 2017, she was also named Calyxta's inaugural cover girl.

She was raised by a Brazilian mother named Geralda and a Japanese father named Paulo. She grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At the age of 18, she and her younger brother left their childhood home to become successful international models. They both eventually decided to settle in the Philippines as their permanent home.

She has been included on Cosmopolitan Philippine's coveted annual list of "Cosmo's 8 Sexiest" several times.

She married photographer and businessman Jun Sunga. Together, they share three children.  She also has a younger brother named Gui.

She is the older sister of actor and model Daniel Matsunaga .
