Corporate events manager turned reality television personality best known for starring on season 3 of Married at First Sight, and later on Lifetime's Married at First Sight: Second Chances.

She earned a master's degree in communications from Clark Atlanta University. She was accepted into the Yale Writers' Conference for travel and food writing.

She founded the website XO, Vanessa as a way to provide inspiration to women.

Originally from South Carolina, she would later call Atlanta, Georgia home. She divorced Tres Russell , whom she matched with on Married at First Sight. She was matched with David Norton on Married at First Sight: Second Chances.

She and Neil Bowlus were both cast members of the 3rd season of Married at First Sight.
