She was forced to leave series two early after testing positive for COVID-19 but returned for series three. Before being cast on Rupaul's Drag Race, she competed on All Together Now, a BBC music reality TV show.

She starred in an ad campaign for Bailey's Irish Cream.

She was born Kevin Max Grogan in the Greater Manchester area of England. Her drag name was inspired by her younger sister, also named Veronica.
