ABOUT VERONICA RODRIGUEZ

Award-winning director, writer and producer who is best known by her work on the Disney series Gabby Duran & the Unsittables . She is also well-known by her work on Chicken Girls , Hummingbird & Crane and Dropout. In the year 2024, she hired to write and direct Mosquito Bites.

Prior to her professional career, she attended the University of Southern California . She later began working in the film industry in the year 2014.

Due to the highly-acclaimed performance of the 2016 comedy Hummingbird & Crane, she received an award for "Best Director" during the Broad Humor Awards. She also once received a nomination for 'Most Outstanding Directing in a Television Movie or Special' during the 2022 NAACP Image Awards.

She grew up living with her family in the United States. She is of Mexican descent. She announced her engagement to Seth Daryoushfar in September 2025.

She worked alongside Darby Camp during the 2023 Disney film The Slumber Party .
