Former men's winger that played soccer professionally for just over 10 years. During his career, he played soccer professionally in countries such as Ireland, Finland, England, Malta and Scotland. He is best known for his years with the Scotland base club Albion Rovers F.C.
He initially signed his first professional club contract with the Albion Rovers in 1982. He was just 17 years old at the time.

He grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. He was born of Scottish and Ugandan descent. His mother was a teacher; his father was a professor of zoology who died when he was young.
He primarily played the position of ringer during his professional soccer career like Neymar and Ángel Di María .
