ABOUT VIC JOHN STASIUK
Ice hockey left winger who played professionally from 1949 to 1963. He later worked as a coach from 1969 to 1973. He has played for the Chicago Blackhawks , the Detroit Red Wings , and the Boston Bruins . Over the course of his career, he recorded 183 goals. His coaching career included the Pittsburgh Hornets and the Philadelphia Flyers .
He played in the minor leagues for the Indianapolis Capitals.
He participated in the Stanley Cup in 1952, 1954 and 1955.
He was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. He died in a nursing home at the age of 93.
Johnny Bucyk was a close friend, whom he met while playing for the Boston Bruins.
