ABOUT VICKY KARAYIANNIS

Publicist known as the wife of late singer Chris Cornell . The couple married in France in 2004. She and her husband founded the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation. The non-profit supported needy and homeless children.

In 2003, she met her husband while he was touring in France.

In May 2022, she honored her husband on the fifth anniversary of his death. She called him "our rock, our world." She thanked his fans for "loving him so much."

Her children are named Toni Cornell and Christopher Nicholas Cornell. Her children have a half-sister named Lillian Jean Cornell . Her mother is named Toni Karayiannis.

Her husband's Soundgarden bandmates included Matt Cameron , Ben Shepherd , Kim Thayil and Hiro Yamamoto .
