Co-pastor of Lakewood Church, a megachurch in Houston Texas that attracted the largest congregation in the United States, with her husband Joel.
She attended the University of Houston, where she studied psychology and worked in her mother’s jewelry business.
Her first book, Love Your Life: Living Happy, Healthy, and Whole was published on October 14, 2008 and debuted at #2 on the New York Times Bestsellers list.
She has two children with her husband Joel.
She met her husband Joel Osteen in 1985 when he came in to buy a new watch battery from her mother's store.
