ABOUT VINKO ZGANEC
Ethnomusicologist who studied Croatian folk music, collecting and recording over 19,000 songs.
He earned a Law degree in 1919.
He taught at the Academy of Music in Zagreb and was the first director of the Institute of Folklore Research.
He was born in the village of Vratisinec.
Marion Brown is another well known ethnomusicologist.
