American singer and songwriter known as the daughter of Foo Fighters frontman and founder Dave Grohl . She has 220,000 followers on Instagram. In 2021, she released her own song with her father called "Nausea."

She learned professional singing skills from her father. She was home-schooled and completed her high school graduation at a Los Angeles private school.

She has sung often with her dad, most notably on a cover of Amy Winehouse 's "Take the Box." She has also sung with the Foo Fighters and at Nirvana reunion shows. She contributed backup vocals to the Foo Fighters' song "Making a Fire."

She was born Violet Maye Grohl in Los Angeles. Her mother is Jordyn Blum. She has two little sisters, Harper Willow , and Ophelia Saint .

She has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! , featuring host Jimmy Kimmel , and appeared with Mark Ronson at a tribute to the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins .
