ABOUT VLADIMIR VEREMEENKO

Belarusian professional basketball player famous for playing power forward for Tsmoki-Minsk. He began playing for the Belarus men's national team in 2003 and competed in the Division B EuroBasket competition in 2005 and 2007. With 543 rebounds, he was named the All-time total rebounds leader in the Eurocup in 2015.

He began his basketball career at the age of 15 and competed in the 1999-00 Korać Cup before qualifying for the Belarusian league All-Star game.

He was the top Belarusian player in the VTB United League from 2013-2014. His team won the FIBA Europe League Championship in 2005. He was a part of the Russian League All-Symbolic Second Team in 2012.

Both of his parents were professional basketball players.

He and Mantas Kalnietis both played in the Russian Super League.
