ABOUT VLADO PERLEMUTER
Lithuanian-French pianist and music pedagogue who became an expert on the piano music of Maurice Ravel .
He graduated from the Paris Conservatoire when he was only 15 years old.
He recorded every sonata by Mozart, as well as numerous pieces by Beethoven and Chopin.
He was one of four sons born in Lithuania to a Jewish family of Polish origin.
He studied with composer Moritz Moszkowski at the Paris Conservatoire.
