ABOUT WAHEED OSENI

Professional center-back that was first signed by the Cypriot First Division league based team Apollon Limassol FC in 2008. He was later signed by the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Football Club during the 2018 club season. He has played professionally in countries such as Oman, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Cyprus and Malaysia.

He first began his soccer career playing with the Sunshine Stars FC youth club in 2005. He then joined the Beitar Jerusalem youth academy in 2006.

He made his professional club debut while playing against the Anorthosis Football Club on March 28, 2010. Unfortunately, he and his team lost the match 2-0. Throughout the course of his playing career, he has played in over 200 matches.

Although he was born in Cyprus, he grew up living with his family in Nigeria.

He plays the position of center-back just like David Luiz .
