ABOUT WANDA EILEEN BARZEE
Became known for kidnapping Elizabeth Smart alongside her husband Brian David Mitchell. She was convicted of state and federal crimes, and in 2010 was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for her role in the abduction.
Before the kidnapping, she was once an accomplished organ player.
She was released from prison in 2018.
Her mother is Dora Corbett. She had six children. In 1984, she divorced her husband Talmage Thompson and in 1985, she married Brian David Mitchell.
She and Ariel Castro are both criminals that have kidnapped people.
