ABOUT WAYNE TURNER

Guard who played for the Boston Celtics in 1999, then played in the IBL, NBL, CBA, and ABA, as well as for the Harlem Globetrotters.

He attended the University of Kentucky, but was not drafted when he declared for the NBA in 1999.

While at Kentucky he won two National Championships, and twice appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

He was born in Boston, Massachusetts.

While at Kentucky he was coached by Tubby Smith and Rick Pitino .
